A Lithuanian tourism poster was recently released online which stated, “VILNIUS, THE G-SPOT OF EUROPE: Nobody knows where it is, but when you find it it’s amazing”. Now, I’m not going to discuss the advert in itself, but rather use it as a segue to why I am writing this blog post.
I’m just going to say it out right: WINTERS IN CANADA CAN BE ROUGH. But, the particularly rough part about winter here, is the period between January and March. The hype around Christmas and NYE has passed, and we pray for a groundhog to tell us that there won’t be “6 more weeks of winter” (though, spring always seems an eternity away, no matter what Sir Willie might say…). That being said, life’s too short to mope about cold weather or a lack of tropical vacation opportunities.
