I want to start this blog post by recognizing that I am in a privileged position to be able to make certain plastic-free swaps, and it is not a position that everyone has. With this, it is important not to compare yourself to others and remember that even small changes made collectively can have big impact. Whether you’re heading out for a day trip or on vacation, the beach always makes for a day of fun. That being said, it can be easy to forget the beach is home to many plants, animals, and ecosystems.
