Aria Hotel Budapest: A Hungarian High Note
Budapest has to be one of my favourite cities I’ve been to – Beautiful, friendly, clean, affordable… it had everything I could ask for. I loved the way Buda’s hills lit up at night; the way cobblestone streets wound through intricate neighbourhoods scattered around the iconic Danube River; the way people gathered at thermal spas to bask in the sunshine and each other’s company; and how every twist and turn through the city centre led to just one more beautiful adventure. Sounds dreamy, right? I mean, the city has its own “Castle District” for goodness’ sake! But this particular post is not about the city itself – it’s about the…

A Niagara Road Trip with Ford Canada and the New 2019 Ford Escape
“All you need is the perfect song on the perfect drive to make you feel infinite” — Stephen Chbosky One of the finer things in life I always enjoy is a good ‘ol fashioned road trip: Good company, good tunes, and the open road – you can’t go wrong! That being said, having a good vehicle doesn’t hurt either…

Hiking Camelback Mountain, Arizona
“Climb mountains not so the world can see you, but so you can see the world.” – David McCullough Jr. Whenever I travel anywhere, I always try to find the best views of the city/landscape. Sometimes this includes enjoying rooftop bars on hotels, or taking an elevator to the top of a famous skyscraper, but my favourite views are usually the ones I hike to. I love pushing my body to new limits, and embracing a well-deserved view where I am surrounded by one of the most beautiful things in this world — nature. There is just something so rewarding and so overwhelmingly peaceful about the entire experience. While…

A Cuban Escape With Memories Jibacoa
“All-inclusive” – kind of has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it? Accommodation, food, drinks, entertainment… not having to worry about anything but remembering to stay hydrated and reapply your sunscreen… Well, despite having done a fair amount of travel in my short 27 years, I had never stayed at an all-inclusive resort before – until now, that is of course. Some of you reading this may very well be seasoned resort-vacationers… others may be looking for the right place to stay for their first experience, and others might just be looking to switch things up. Any which way you are coming into this, my goal for this blog post…

A Haunting Evening with the Legends of Horror at Casa Loma
New to the Toronto scene in the last few years, the Legends of Horror event at Casa Loma has taken the city by storm during the Hallowe’en seasons. As a person who is generally not a fan of horror, or fear inducing endeavours, I hadn’t previously considered entertaining the idea of attending such an extravagant haunted house. HOWEVER, that all changed when I was invited to a press evening with the cast; an event launch sponsored by Captain Morgan. I looked into the trailers, the reviews, and some videos online and thought, “But how could I not?!”. The whole event just seemed so over-the-top… but in a terrifyingly intriguing way.…

La Cascata Lake Como: A charming alternative
On my recent trip to Italy, I had the pleasure of staying at a quaint guest house in Nesso, Lake Como — just a 20-minute drive from the ever-popular village of Bellagio. While many tourists leap at the opportunity to spend their time in the beautiful streets that wind through areas of Lake Como like Varenna, Bellagio, and the city of Como itself, it seems that many people miss some of the other hidden gems that line the shores of the Lake.

A Luxurious Night with Hotel X Toronto by Library Hotel Collection
‘Comfort’, ‘service’, and ‘unique’: These are the words I used when I was put on the spot and asked to deliver three words to describe my experience at Hotel X Toronto.
