As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, I’ve been spending quite a bit of time lately travelling to “more affordable” countries, giving me the opportunity to travel more frequently and stick to a budget. With this mindset, I’ve had the chance to visit places I might not have previously considered visiting. One of those places has been ROMANIA.

Earlier this year, I went to Romania with my boyfriend for just under one week. We weren’t totally sure what to expect and, quite frankly, had few expectations. BUT, LET ME TELL YOU — Romania is not a country to be missed!

Romania is a country that will leave you breathless as you take in the stunning landscapes; it will take you on a wild journey back to your childhood as you walk through the streets that, no doubt, inspired the illustrations of all your favourite fairytale books; it will give you all the warm fuzzies from your interactions with the many kind and welcoming locals; and, it will give you all of this as you merrily eat and drink your way through an amazing (and delicious) holiday!

Oh yeah, and on a wicked budget too!
